LIVING IN TRUTH: WOMEN EMBRACING GOD'S DESIGNIt is God's design that his people live from the reality of his grace and truth in their lives. Our ability to experience the freedom and promise of a life overflowing with mature love and strength is determined by how we bring our reality , that is, who we really are, into God's presence. That means we learn to identify all of the false ways by which we live and interact with God and others, and how we choose to reject God's plan for our transformation into the image of Christ.
For many of us, we are not living from the truth of who God has called us to be. Perhaps your own identity of who you are as a woman of God is diminished or hindered in your life. What happens when the image of Christ within you, distinctive to you as a woman, has never flowered or come to maturity? What if this strong identity is not present or is weakened?
For many women, there is a sense that relationships are not what they could be or what they were hoped to be. Some women were never blessed by others to be this glorious representation of God's design nor were they honored and nurtured to step into the truth of who they really are. Perhaps the wounding of others or one's life decisions have hampered the realization of becoming a woman who lives from a place of strength and mature love.
How can a woman discover this freedom to be who she is called to be? Where will she find rest and blessing, security and identity?
The way to God's design is found at the foot of the cross of Jesus. There, we can come to experience the redemptive work of God that will bring us to maturity. It is at the cross that we lay down the hindrances to our growth and intimacy with others. At the cross we discover Christ as our sufficiency.
You are invited to join us for this one-day retreat which will focus on helping you to identify where you might not be living from your true identity as a woman of God. We will also discuss how to relate with others who may not be living out of their true identity. This is an experiential retreat as we will be creating opportunities for reflection and discovery of God's heart toward you as His daughter.
At the foot of the cross of Jesus exists a current of grace that flows without end. Come and join us as we take steps to enter into this flow of God's love and transforming power. Come and find your rest in Him and live in the truth of who God designed you to be.
